QRTech is a product company. We build and run our own software rather than taking on client projects. Our first product, QR Studio, lets businesses create, manage and track dynamic QR codes from their own dashboard — there is nothing to install and no development work required to get started.
QRTech is the parent company. QR Studio is the first product and is available now; QR Shield is the second and is in development. Each one is built on the same foundation — the same login, the same billing relationship and the same analytics engine — so a second product never means a second account or a separate invoice.
QR Shield is a physical QR tag you attach to a vehicle, pet collar, keyring or bag. If someone needs to reach you about it, they scan the tag with any phone camera, pick a reason such as wrong parking or a found pet, and you receive a shielded call, SMS or WhatsApp message. Your real number is never shown to them and theirs is never shown to you. It is in development now.
QR Studio is business software — digital menus, business profiles, events and asset tagging, managed from a dashboard. QR Shield is a consumer product built around private contact: a physical tag plus Shield Relay, the calling layer behind it. They share accounts, analytics and infrastructure, but they solve different problems for different people.
Shield Relay is the part of our infrastructure that sits between a caller and you. It receives the call on a QRTech number and bridges it through, so the two real numbers never meet. The shield in our logo is the same idea — the product is named after what it actually does.
A static QR code has the destination encoded inside the image, so once it is printed it can never change. A dynamic QR code points at a short link we host, which means you can change the destination whenever you like, route visitors by device or location, and measure every scan. Your printed material stays valid permanently.
Yes. You point a subdomain such as qr.yourbrand.com at us and we issue and renew the TLS certificate automatically. Visitors only ever see your domain, not ours.
If your current codes are static, the destination is baked into the printed image and cannot be redirected — those need reprinting once as dynamic codes, after which they never need reprinting again. If you already use a dynamic provider, we can usually import your code list and set up matching short links so the printed material keeps working.
For each scan we record device type, browser, operating system, approximate location down to city level, timestamp, referrer and any campaign parameters. We deliberately avoid collecting unnecessary personal information, and you can export everything as CSV or pull it through the API.
Yes. Agencies get one dashboard with separate workspaces per client, their own branding and domain throughout, and per-client reporting. Get in touch and we will walk through how it fits your client base.
Yes. There is a REST API for creating and updating codes, pulling analytics and managing workspaces, plus webhooks that fire on scan events so you can push data into your own systems in real time.
